Tir Chonaill's New Management - Ritchie Lianoch

Tir Chonaill is a village situated in northeastern basin surrounded by low mountains. Establishment of the settlement dates back historically to descendants of Partholons, who originally founded the Kingdom of Uladh. Precipitation is high due to obstruction of a clear flow of moist air in face of Mourne Mountains. Climate is comparable to similar settlements in high altitudes. While wheat and barley plantations are notably conspicuous, cool weather and regular rainfall have stunted the growth of agriculture. Instead, management of livestock keeps the town's infrastructure afloat. Since granted limited sovereignty by the kingdom, Tir Chonaill has been led by town chiefs. Dugald Aisle offers the only outlet to the main world, and due to the steep acclivity of the terrain, little traffic exists in and out of the town. Thus, the village naturally developed to be largely self-sufficient. Adellia Stream, from which most of the townspeople derive their drinking water, flows downwards from melting glacier and snow in Moonhide Valleys. An intriguing legend envelopes the stream. The name 'Adellia' purportedly finds its origin in a story of a priestess who lost her life in a strife between Fomors and residents of Tir Chonaill. In recognition of her bravery, the stream was named after her.

The Alby Dungeon can be found north of the village, and a teleport gate west of the dungeon leads to Sidhe Sneachta.
The Ciar Dungeon can be found east of the village behind a mountain ridge.


Guards (Quantity/Quality)
Melee archer Hybrids - Low/Medium
Melee mage hybrids - Low/Low
Melee Specialist - Low/Above average
Archer specialist - Low/Above average
Mage specialist - Low/Above average
Mounted - Three total. Average

Guard Lineup: A guard(Melee/Archer Hybrid) is posted at each bridge. Patrols consist of: Melee specialists, Archer specialists, Mage specialists, or hybrids. Patrols are almost always milletian. Two man/woman patrols are on duty and change shifts every 3-4 hours. During the day three patrols will be present. At least one is always in town along with a Mounted unit(Captain). At night only two patrols are present. One in town and one in the grasslands. In addition to the patrols other guards are "on call" in case of emergency. Mainstream NPC's who are combat savvy are normally available to assist guards if necessary.

Arresting:
How guards will proceed to arrest someone.
The guards are generally friendly and usually start off with a warning (for small offenses of course). If the minor offense is repeated, action will be taken and the offender will be captured. For major offenses, they will immediately attempt to arrest the culprit. The guards will be very cautious in these situations and will attack if necessary.

Special Laws in effect:
-No having weapons unsheathed in town at all. Path to Ciar and the southern plains are considered out of town, due to the wolves. Guard posts have been added to the harvesting fields. Only exception is the area by the foxes, but is watched over by Trefor and other guards. If weapon is unsheathed, a guard will come up and ask you politely to put it away.
-All personal duels are to be taken to the school. Any duels done out of the school's training grounds will result in both parties being taken and a fine issued.
