Tailteann--Eliade

((Non-conformity is only good when conforming is stupid. It isn't here, SO! *Copies everyone else~*))
Tailteann is larger meter-by-meter than other cities in Uladh (Tara being the exception). However, the civilian populace is slightly less than that of Emain. It's main exports are crops of different varieties, and it has an heir of enterprise to it--one can rent farmlands to grow their own crops, and sell them. Despite the ideal climate and healthy land, Tailteann is not a common tourist site, save for adventurers. This is because of the Shadow Altar, which is both a necessity for further research into the workings of the realm, but also a gate. The area is constantly under watch, and battle is not by any means a rare happening. Recent events that have transpired have led Tailteann to tighten it's defenses and store a portion of every harvest in case of emergency, and less troops are sent out than usual--more now on-site than in the shadow realm or in other locations.

Guards:Standard guard-level and amounts and blah blah.
Ranged Specialists: Medium (medium)
Melee Specialists: High (high)
Mage Specialists: Low (Medium)
Melee-mage: Medium (Low)
Alchemist: Highest (above-average amounts, not quite high)
Calvary: Lowest (high)

Guard Setup
There is no specific group, save for archers being at every tower (And calvary). Rather, the guards all switch posts regularly; moving in threes. Due to the orderly nature of it, there are constantly guards throughout the city as well as
*Every Watchtower
*Each tower along the walls
*Altar
*Farmlands

Arresting
Guards are never alone, as stated. In pursuit, there will always be the standard unit of three, and perhaps more accompanying. Safety of the people takes priority over capture, and so deadly force will not be used unless no civilians will be endangered (This does not count military personnel, who are expected to assist if needed).
If a target escapes, wanted posters will immediately be put into production, and sent out/posted the next RL day.
When a target is captured, they are immediately cuffed with -stat gear, seared, and taken in; they are placed with other offenders based on different tiers of extremity, with the most violent individuals being put straight to solitary.
In Jail, you'll be fed three meals a day--but nothing fancy. Unseasoned meat, bread, boiled greens and water. Bland, bland food. Visitation is allowed, but supervised, and prisoners are -not- released from their cells, save for doing daily duties around down--contributing to society. No free meals, here.

Tailteann NPC's
I'm going to be strict, here. Very, very strict. I know that many people don't play NPC's well. At all. If you wish to play an NPC on a regular basis, you need to speak to me. For as-needed NPC-ing, you must stick to what that character would actually do. Failure to do so that gets back to me will result in not being able to NPC that particular character.

Custom NPC's
People may use custom NPC's as they see fit, but know that they will be treated like anybody else, and if you or anyone harms them, you'll be wanted. If they harm anyone, they will be auto-taken in. There is no exception to this rule.

NPC Status
The residents of Tail--military and otherwise--are almost always prepared for trouble. This isn't to say that they are constantly worried, they are not. However, they've all adjusted to life near the shadow Altar. They are very aware that things can go wrong in a matter of seconds, and a vast majority have adapted to -be- ready in a matter of seconds. There are no restrictions to carrying weaponry, even of the concealed persuasion, and the people -do- take advantage of this. In the case of self-defense, only the aggressor will be charged.

City Status
All facilities are functioning, trade routes have been established to the neighboring cities and the economy fairs relatively well.

Special Laws
*No loitering around the Shadow Realm. You either have business, or you don't.

*Rented farms are considered private property. Should one be vandalised, you will not only be charged with vandalism but reimburse the owner. If you cannot pay, you will be held indefinately--until you are able to pay them off through work.

Tail is currently preparing barrier spikes en masse, and attempting to develop some form of cheap sustenance in the form of a potion or something similar. With the threat of Glas possible, it was decided that Solea was a possible area for evactuation, and the cities would do their part (in the most recent CL meeting that I was able to go to, that is). As such, Tail is doing it's. Members there able to verify are Soifa (Yiana/Emain), Ani (Lysander/Zardine), and Jabber (Filia-Longa-Connous/Filia).

That's my short update for this week. I missed this previous CL due to life events, but I'll be posting one every Sunday, from this point on.

Glacia Eon has been arrested by the Tailteann guard and charged with assault. Turned herself in; she's getting less than the standard 5 year sentence. 2.
