Ekio, the Homunculus

Post  Mithos on Fri Nov 12, 2010 8:04 pm

((This character needs approval... and I was too lazy to make two threads for the same thing and have missing parts in each one of them... Feel free to move it.))

Name : Ekio
Family : None
Race : Artificial Being (Homunculus)
Age : Not even 1 (Although she looks like 20)
Hobbies : Playing music. Training archery.
Weapon of choice : Leather Long Bow
Theme song : My Secret Forest
Battle Theme : Middle Aselia Biology
Loneliness Theme : Dream Traveler

Ekio is the result of an alchemy experiment. The "corrupt" alchemists once again attempted to create life. It was quite the show for anyone watching from the Shadow Realm's Blago Prairie. As the elite of the Corrupt Alchemists started to transmutate her, the bones started to form, followed by the muscles, which envelopped the frail bones. The hypersensitive newly created body still lacked skin. In a last resort of efforts, the Alchemists transmutated the skin onto the Homunculus who was already live. She cried in pain. She cried so loud that it could be heard all the way to the Shadow Realm's Tara. She cried so hard that it would make anyone shiver. After having endured this much pain, she fell down, unconscious and broken. The alchemists left, leaving her for dead, as if she was just another failed experiment.

As soon as the alchemists left, Mithos, who was watching the whole thing from a hill, ran down to get her. He ran for as long as he could, holding her, to get to safety. She was alive, but she had fainted and would have died if she recieved no care. He took care of her until she finally recovered. At first, when she woke up, she was scared of him, and she didn't know how to talk. With time, she learned basic speech and she opened up to people. No one scares her since she haven't met anyone who would have.

When she is sleeping or whenever she's unconscious, wounds on her body start to open and close at a regular rate. This is due to overexposure to the Erg that is opposite to her affinity (Darkness). If she is in the Shadow Realm though, she is completely fine.

((OOC note : I won't put her in the guild since I'm only going to be on her once in a while. Also : If anything needs to be cleared up, tell me... I'll explain Very Happy))

confused Basically... Homunculi are a weaker version of humans/elves/giants (Yay! Not ranking Rest or First Aid!). She cannot grow physically and cannot rebirth (since she doesn't even have a soul). Her wounds just heal up faster (pet first aid/heal and/or HP pots) when assisted by alchemy. Also... she can't perform self-transmutation (I'm just saying). Her ability to control mana is also... very low... since Mana comes from Light Erg and she was made through Alchemy's Erg of Darkness. Using magic could make her lose consciousness if it's overused (20 bolts?).

scratch I really don't see what could be taken to godmodding or such... and Homunculi -are- included into Mabinogi's storyline at the beginning of G12. If it's not approved, I would like to recieve an explaination so I can understand. Thank you~

No idea then. Last I heard they would not be included.

My only suggestion is that, Mithos, you talk to Dell or Honeno about allowing this character's race. And yes, while they are canon in Mabi, some things will not be included on player races.
